The "Family Album" Project, developed by the Library, Archive and Municipal Museum, aims at enriching and disseminating the collection of old images of the municipality and at collecting data about them starting with the oral sources. In an attempt to recreate family moments, when people gathered and went through photo albums, community meetings are held, which include the projection of old images - from the Archive or provided by individuals – people, places, events, and dates are recorded and memories are shared.

Through this project, we intend to create the Family Album of the Municipality of Palmela. With the contribution of each individual, we believe that it is possible to collect images and stories, which, as a whole, reveal part of our history and collective memory.
